Owner Dale Motiska has been featured in numerous publications over the years. From his award winning landscape designs to his knowledge and passion for palm trees, exotic plants and major commercial landscaping projects.
Dale has been featured on television’s Mythbusters episode titled “Deadly Straw”, which tests the myth whether a straw can penetrate a palm tree trunk, given sufficient velocity from a storm.
The Palm Island Nursery sponsored television’s Yard Crashers personality, Ahmed Hassan at the 2010 Vacaville Home & Garden Show. Palm Island Nursery supports community and charity events including The Green Valley Roundup and the Solano Midnight Sun Foundation.
